Measurements for Custom Clothing

Please measure a current item that fits the child, before placing the order
for a custom item.

Shoulder width for both boy's and girl's can be measured
from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

A bishop style dress should be measured from the outside edges of the smocking
since there are no actual seams at the shoulder.

Length measurements will be taken either from the bone at the back neckline to the
hem or for a boy to the center between the legs.

Chest will be taken from underarm seam to underarm seam.

The arm length should be considered when ordering a long sleeve item. This would
be measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff. ( You may want to have the child
hold their arms straight in front as this will allow an additional inch or so for their
comfort.
